Quiz Night

We picked a good evening for the PYNDA Social and Quiz Night on the 1^st June 2017. The night was warm, the beer was cool and the winning team, “Piston Broke” were on fire.  They easily beat the runners up – and by an embarrassingly wide margin. Our congratulations to the winners and many thanks to Nic Ingle, the Quizmaster, who managed to frustrate everyone equally with his mix of general knowledge, popular culture and maritime themed questions.   

It was the first time we have had a PYNDA gathering at this venue. It is an old city pub in a very convenient location and the staff at The Ship (The Ship in Hart Street, London EC3R7NB) looked after us very well. So much so that the committee are considering making The Ship the regular meeting point for future PYNDA gatherings in London.  We will be conducting further tests of the facilities at the pub over the summer.
